I need to know what exactly is switched by the three position switch on this pump.
Plug connections that I can trace without getting into the switch mechanism:
1 and 2 are strapped externally
3 unknown
4 capacitor
5 unknown
6 unknown
7 unknown
8 N and capacitor
The plastic switch actuator has broken off and I would like to simply hardwire the pump into its highest speed mode.
My intuition is that it is a single pole switch that switches L to 5, 6 and 7 in turn.
Can anybody confirm?
Alternatively, anybody got a spare switch assembly from a knackered pump?
