Maybe a silly question but...
I am replacing doors throughout my house. In both bedrooms the door is in the corner of the room at the left. In bedroom 1 the hinge is on the right. In bedroom 2 the hinge is on the left - I suspect this one has been changed because it blocks the light switch when opened.
Is there any convention or recommendation on "which way" internal doors should open i.e. which side the hinge goes?
