Internet Explorer not running after W10 update last night

The IE page starts to load, but does not put all the taskbars on and becomes "not responding"

My Privacy settings are quite tight

I have Norton Internet Security.

Am now working on Firefox

Other Apps sem to be OK, including Live Mail

Where should I start looking?

I restarted a couple of times.

belay that pending further developments after I restarted it again

it's now opening but C-drive is running very busy. I usually turn indexing off but can't remember how I did it. Cortana is Suspended as I don't use (or like) it.

My IE 11 has actually vanished completely from the PC following the update.

I was a bit concerend as some systems I use need IE to function, but apparently, Edge now has the legacy functionality of IE so works with old stuff.

I updated a few days ago and IE 11 is still there.

Click on 'Start > All apps > Windows accessories' and it should be there, or at least that's where it is on mine.

Strange!! Just checked on second PC and its gone missing on that one.
