Hi there Please can someone advice us.We have bought an extractor hood to go above our combination cooker(gas hob electric oven.)Does it have to be connected with an exterior vent through the wall,or would the filter system be suffient thats built into the hood. I use a pressure cooker which cooks in ten minutes and may occasionally fry an egg. Most my cooking takes place in the electric oven or the microwave. If we did make an exterior vent through the wall it would be very near (about two foot) away from the vent from our gas boiler which is right next to our cooker. We are concerned about the fumes from the boiler coming back in through a vent from the cooker hood.
