Firstly, those activities don't use up scarce generating capacity, secondly the alternative to UFH is not cold feet.

It doesn't really matter anyway as we all know you're on a differnt planet to everyone else.
 
Whilst 'they' have football matches and motor races at night, illuminate public buildings and seemingly ignore what 'we' are supposed to do then I think it somewhat hypocritical to expect only 'us' to look after the planet by not installing inefficient legal heating systems manufactured for profit by 'them'.
