need to insulate the new extension bathroom ceiling ive a lot of kingspan/jablite over is it as good as rockwool,, the reason i ask is at the moment there is no plaster board up,, so kingspan would be easily cut now to go in any thoughts thanks

Kingspan is much better than rockwool.
And make sure you use expanding foam in the gaps, you won't cut it to fit tight.
Polyurethane insulation is normally 0.025 thermal resistance, mineral wool 0.037 (lower the better).
