I had an issue last year with some damp timer behind the chimney stack (shared on Semi-Detatched of 1920's property) have since had flaunching completely re-done and , repointing on my side and a new lead tray along the back of chimney as proactive measure and to repair leak. After recent rain the timber is still very damp behind the chimney breast.. The roofer has been up and and says all looks good and sent me these these photos (I think the job looks good). I am looking to ask for another inspection but just wondered if anyone has any suggestions.. I did think on the photo the blue roofing material should not be present at the lead joint on corner so am going to mention this (although roofer will already be aware, but I am no roofing expert! Would be grateful for any guidance.

That's the tape from the lead roll but there looks to be a hole in the lead next to the tape where the lead has been dressed round the corner.

The timber will still be damp if it was not replaced. Ask the builder.

Blup

Back gutter doesn't cover enough where it's dressed around the corner inmo
Side flashing doesn't appear to cover a roll from where I'm looking .

I spotted that too. Probably never worked with Moderns or are blissfully unaware about such things as gravity, tile profiles and the tenacity of water.
