Afternoon!

All my radiators downstaris are lovely and hot! Sadly this cannot be said for any of the upstairs. After checking, one pipe on the side of the radiators are hot but the other side is cold. The bottom of the radiators are warm but nothing after about 1 inch. I have tried bleeding, but no air comes out and no water either. What can I do, cos its freezing and if it goes on any longer I will be building an igloo in my bedroom.

Have you checked water in loft tank? Is bleed valve blocked?
Sounds to me that possible blockage in pipe work is preventing the pressure created by head of water from acting.

Try this first:

1. Turn off all rads except for one rad upstairs - on this one open both valves.

2. Run the system until the rad gets hot, then work through the other upstairs rads in the same way.

3. Turn off the system, open all rad valves upstairs, and vent each one.

4. Run the system again and let us know what happens.
