Hi was hoping someone could help my 23kw combi boiler is starting up when hot water is put on but is not firing up when central heating is on. When the problem first started it would fire up for a few minutes or so then switch off after a few more minutes would fire up again. The water pump is running constantly and is very hot is this normal.

A hot pump usually means no flow!

The diverter valve may be jammed.

I dont usually see many Jaguars in Warwickshire!

Used to be lots of Pottertons until the flooding of their place near Guys Cliffe.

Thanks tony is there any way of testing or repairing this problem.
