joinery

Bonjour, I am currently trying to find a further education outlet that can teach me Joinery, I am a qualified carpenter, but I didn't do much joinery in the course and am now finding that it would be advantageous to learn it. Should I not find an outlet do you think it would be wise to try and learn joinery out of a book?

i too havnt done much joinery,i have had to teach my self and over come any problems ive encounted,im sure if thats a path you want to go down there would be some sort of course you could attend?

I studied part time for a couple of years at college after work for the Institute Of Carpentry Award - they have both Bench Joinery and Site Carpentry modules which was very useful.
Only thing I'd say is if you go down this route it's all down to how good the College is, so choose wisely!
