Joining TV coaxial cable outdoors

I need to join a cut coaxial TV aerial cable, but outdoors. Indoors I'd be perfectly familiar with what to do, but outdoors it will need to be waterproof of course. It's at a property likely to be sold in the coming months, so I'm not looking to spend a fortune. What would people recommend?

and you may need two sets plus a length of quality all copper cable if there's no slack in the system and / or if water has got into /damaged the ends of existing cables.

You can also buy the parts separately from many suppliers.
