Just when London got control of CoViD

Admit it, if nothing else, he was bang on the money regarding China wasn't he.
….about hitting them with sanctions and starting a trade war?

….about Hong Kong?

...that CV 19 escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan?

...that banning flights from China means "there will be almost zero deaths here"? (100'000 deaths and counting).

What was he specifically right about? That lots of Chinese have dark hair? I suppose if you throw enough darts one will hit the board.

Gun toting? Are you sure about that?
I thought the investigation concluded he was throwing the gun away when he was shot in the chest.

And Jean Charles de Menezes was reading a paper on his way to work.

But those are just the killings. Many other stories.

Both of your UK examples were "intelligence" led operations, conducted by specialist officers. Both were reported to be fast-moving situations, with likely significant threat to the officers and the public.
Whether they were right or wrong in some or greater part, they have very little in common with George Floyd's killing (prone and zero-threat, a petty criminal at worst, slowly choked to death by a low-level cop).

As is often the case the BBC gives a better over view of the problems here that will have added people to the demonstration in the UK

As they mention it's not that easy to conclude anything really due to other factors such as drink and drugs. Not too different to other policing aspects. They are inclined to recognise types but peoples behaviour influences how they react. Stop and search is an interesting one as we don't hear how often they find "things" but on the other hand they do need to do some to remind people they are there. They do all sort due to that.

We do have a racism problem but it's way more spread and complex than the above and down to all sorts of things including straight forwards prejudice. Some times that is down to noticing something or the other and then concluding that all similar are the same. Every group has bad apples. Circumstances can encourage the numbers of them in any group. It's tricky to do anything about that but I don't see why people shouldn't hold demonstrations about it. Seems they are all liberals - LOL. Another form of prejudice and bound to be wrong. If some one said the younger age groups I probably wouldn't argue but even that will be mixed.

CV19 - the idiots should all have worn masks as least as a token of thinking about that particular problem but in some places all should be really if they thought about it but few are. London - from last weeks results I am wondering if there will be a spike there anyway.

Are you suggesting the police have a predetermined view of who is likely to be a criminal?

...
"Excuse me, Sir. We've stopped you, and want to conduct a search."

"What are you looking for, Officer?"

"Nothing, Sir. We just want to remind you that we're here."

LOL Sounds very much that I know far more about them than you. Probably down to having 2 relatives that are policemen.

Even more worrying.
"Excuse me, Sir. We've stopped you because we want to conduct a search".
"Why me?"
"You're the type that we think you're a criminal! And we like to remind you that we're here!"

I didn't say types was a good idea did I. A problem they have is that they get to see all sorts that the general public doesn't and have experiences we don't generally have as well. That can give them an opinion about various types of people. Stop and search is a difficult one so I would like to see proof that it was worth while but don't see why they should be 100% correct in choice. People seeing them doing it may put others off doing what ever they are looking for.

:) Next time you see one in a parked car doing nothing getting a suntan when the weather nice is one example of we are around as is where ever they are seen in most cases on foot or otherwise.

I've been stopped and searched once, stopped several times. Car, not walking about. Stopped in the early hours of the morning when living in what was seen as a dubious area. Also once where I live now. Odd time that one, around 4am. The car search etc was when I drove past a Leyland factory as the late shift left. LOL I did tell them I didn't work there. They were looking for stuff stolen from the factory. Something they did randomly now and again.

I got stopped by two different patrol cars within a minute of the first letting me go.

I cried your only stopping me because I'm fat spotty and ugly with bad breath..

To add a bit of perspective.

They even arrest black food delivery riders whilst they are on their jobs. Even showing that hes actually on a delivery via an app is not enough.

You wonder why trust in Law Enforcement is breaking down in the US.

Drug dealers are using food delivery drivers to smuggle their products around during coronavirus lockdowns, Interpol has warned.
The international policing organisation said on Thursday it had received reports of the tactic from countries including the UK, Ireland, Spain and Malaysia.
Cocaine, marijuana, ketamine and ecstasy were among the drugs identified as being transported by delivery drivers, who have become an even more common sight during the Covid-19 pandemic as restaurants have switched to become takeaways.

This was happening long before Coronavirus.

Another older UK story re-shared on Twitter today. And he wasn't in a gang, and didn't get mistaken for a terrorist. Just a guy with mental health issues that needed help.

Do you really think we have a big problem with our police compared with the US or country's like Pakistan India Bangladesh, Romania and African country's.

If you were a black man were would you rather live that's safer than this country.

Lol the video shows them emptying his delivery bag and still continuing the arrest.

POLICE OFFICER TELLS PROUD BOYS TO HIDE INSIDE BUILDING BECAUSE THEY'RE ABOUT TO TEAR GAS PROTESTERS. THE OFFICER SAID HE WAS WARNING THEM "DISCREETLY" BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT PROTESTERS TO SEE POLICE "PLAY FAVORITES.

The Police in the US are losing whatever shred of decency they have left.

Indeed

the Menezes case was tragic and there was a police cover up afterwards, but it has no equivalence to George Floyd -he was unarmed, in handcuffs and had only been arrested for a $20 dollar fake note.....there was literally no reason for him to have 3 officers pinning him down.
