no! the wet dash is applied before 2nd coat is dry.

surprised the wet cast never slid down the wall.
Time will tell if it has adhered properly.

If i coated using sand n cement i wouldn't hit it when that coat was still wet

you asked for advice! its up to you what you do with it.
methinks you may be using to much morter with the stone!

i dont get it ?
wet dash is a mix of stone and whatever your using,as you know,a lot of spreads get mixed up and have to much compo in the stone then throw like its a separate coat,its not its just a finish to the buttercoat,the stone should be covered but not thick with gear.
