Hi all,
Went over some speed bumps the other day, probably to fast, and herd a clonk from the back. The suspension has also dropped on one side.
ive changed the shocks as i thought this was the problem but still no good.
Any ideas anyone

Sounds like a broken spring to me. I take it it has coil springs on the front and rear? They do hate speed bumps, especially at speed
Worth checking all of them.
A burst shock wouldn't make the vehicle sit to one side so changing them wouldn't affect the slouch. A broken spring could make the vehicle sit a bit low though.
If the break is at the end of the coil look for a jagged edge on the metal that's a sure sign that there's a bit broken off. It can be hard to spot on the tops as they're normally tucked away up inside the wheel arch.

Thanks for reply ratm.
No springs on rear, It has an axle beam with torsion bars, which i don't no to much about .
Been doing some checking and i think one of these has slipped on the splines. If it is this, i'm unsure if it can be repaired or if it is an axle beam replacment.
