You might have gathered i read some pretty obscure stuff, but in Applied Physics Letters, vol 25, page 721 we have "Value of electron diffusion constant in GaAs for high electric fields" by, amonst others, Eugene Constant.

So a paper on the e constant, by E Constant...........
