This is a UK forum mainly so you may not get much specific help as kenmores are not sold over here.
General points though
Is the hot water supply tap on
Is water coming out of the supply hose when disconnected
Is there a filter on the supply hose at the tap end (is it clean)
Is there a filter on the fill valve (is it clean)
Does the hot water fill valve hum when it should be filling with hot water (try swapping the electrical connections from the cold water fill valve onto the hot water fill valve and seeing if it fills with hot water now) you may have a defective fill valve.
