Key stuck in Hotpoint WF640

As in the title. A Yale-type house key was left in a pocket and has become lodged between the rotating drum and the outer of a Hotpoint washing machine WF640. It rattles around when the drum is turned but doesn't seem to want to come out of the drain hole. Is there any way (short of trying to split the drum) that it can be extracted?

Slide the lifters back inside the drum and hook it out.
