Fantastic Softener, doesn't need an Electrical supply, uses block salt the size of a housebrick, so you can't use salt tabs in them, they cost as much as an Aston Martin, so I doubt you'll find one cheapo try E-bay?
Alternatively have a look at Monarch, they make a more traditional softener that does need electricity, but uses tablet salt so should be easier to operate and maintain
Hi I have one of these and have noticed that periodically the float inlet valve sinks so the system overflows, I have just modified my float system as I believe the float has a design flaw.
I have dismantled the float valve and filled the yellow float with polystyrene, now the float can never fill with water or sink, so if you ever find you have this problem then do as I have done and all your troubles should be over.
