Kitchen light keeps going on and off

My kitchen light sometimes turns on and sometimes doesn't. If you push where arrow is it might come on. Is this a loose connection? How do I fix it?

Most common fault with ES lamps is a poor connection with either the bottom or side terminals, try some contact cleaner or physically bending the terminals.

Have you got a halogen bulb you can try? Lots of cheap Chinese bulbs don’t connect well either

I would start by checking the connections are tight, pushing the lamp holder would flex the wires, which may make it seem like that's where the problem is.
