Hi i have a hob cooker, the wall behind it had 4 tiers of tiles high but after this its painted...my trouble is the fat spray its dotted the paint on that wall and one by the side and needs a repaint.

How can i prepare that surface with grease/fat in that paint,is there a base coat or something that will work ok ? and is there some fat/grease resistant paint i can use so i don't get that problem again.

Wipe with meths or cellulose thinners or sugarsoap followed by an oil-based undercoat before emulsion..
You may be able to simply undercaoat without degreasing ;)
