Hi,

The previous occupant decided to take the kitchen sink plugs - not sure why.

The inner hole is the same as a standard plug I reckon, but it is set into a larger hole presumably for some kind of basket.

There is no hole in the very middle for an actual basket.. what are the correct plugs to buy please? Thanks in advance.

I find that, for kitchen sink basket wastes, the plugs and holes need to be the same brand for a reliable fit. A new waste can be attached from underneath, after undoing the large central screw from above. They come with new sealing washers. The previous occupant might have taken the plugs out because the waste leaks when the sink is full.

You may find them cheaper on fleabay
