I've moved my exisiting kitchen sink and plumbed it in with 40mm pipe with a run length of just under 4m, the vertical drop between the bottom of the sink and the point where it enters the soil stack is around 22cm (about 10cm over the actual pipe run).

The sink seems to work fine but when I moved it I put in an anti vacuum trap just to be on the safe side. I'm ordering a new kitchen which will replace the sink and I'll likely need to use a space saver trap to fit the things I want underneath it. The new trap will obviously bring the pipework up much closer to the sink giving say a drop over 4m of perhaps 16-17cm - am I likely to run into problems using a space saving trap with this sort of length and drop?
