Kitchen Tiling

Hello

I'm fitting a kitchen and I am getting conflicting advice on whether to tile first before the worktops go on i.e start the tiles just below the worktop level. If I was to tile first would that push my worktops out too far or is there usually plenty of play.

Scribe the worktop to fit to the wall first, then tiles.

Worktop first - and unless your walls are really bendy the tiles will hide the gaps.
If you tile first you will be left with a variable-sized horizontal gap that will never look right.
