Kitchen worktop no lip on one side

My joiner cut the kitchen worktop on one side flush with the carcass of the base unit. So there is no lip on one side where the kitchen sink clips can crap onto.

Are they any other type of clips I can improvise or I guess the alternative to cut a piece of thin timber and screw it at the edge of the worktop to create a lip.

Just cut a slot in it for the clip to fit in.

You will have you cut slots in the carcass side panel, I presume its a bowl and half sink in a 600 unit?
