Lack of hot water in mixer tap.

Hi,

We have a combi boiler (Biasi Garda M90F). It does hot water on demand to three taps. The kitchen and bathroom sink are fine.

However the bath hot tap seems faulty. When you run it, you get a minute or so of water and then nothing. if you turn it off, run the cold tap for a few minutes then turn it back on, you get a few more minutes of hot water flow.

The tap is one of these combined ones with 2 separate spouts and a pull upp connector to the shower hose.

At first I thought it might be an airlock but reading through here suggests you don't get them in combi-boilers.

Any ideas what it might be please?

The tap itself is probably faulty, take it apart and clean and grease all the bits in it.
