I put some laminate flooring down in my kitchen/dining room and its looking real nice, except the edging which I have yet to lay down.
The edging looks like this

Where the | goes in the gap and the _____ lays along the floor.
Some of the gaps between the laminate and the wall are big and the edging doesn't lay flat. It is worth applying some paste/kitchen sealant in the gaps then push the edging into place (and glue down) ?
Appreciate anyones opinions / ideas.
