The o/s is important, try an Android One based phone.

Both those have the latest Android 9.

Putting aside its silly name, the Oukitel K9 seems to equal or beat the Honor 8X Max, which seems to be its closest rival.

I'd have the 8X Max, but it's the Chinese version, that amongst other things, does without Band 20.

I will wait till November before making a decision; one because some manufacturers announce new models in October and two, there may be some good deals around Christmas.
