Hey guys!
We are currently planning out the new bathroom.
We've had our eye on some tiles for a while now, and noticed they are now half price, so I picked them up yesterday!
They are 600 x 300 x 7/8mm porcelain, which weigh 23kg per m2- (obviously plus adhesive)
Now I know I'm limited by the loads I can put on the walls, which I think I've figured out.
2 walls are going to be stud- so they'll be bare board (32 or 50kg per m2) but the other 2 are (or will be) bare block, so I'm thinking of dob and dab these with MR board to get both weight allowance and flat walls..?
The room is L shaped, 2.2m x 2.5m, and the L bit is 800 square in one corner (if that makes sense?)
whstbim worried about is getting them to look right on the L shape part. I can't see in my head how I can make it look good?
Any ideas??
(Sorry if it's not very clear, it's been a very long day!)
Cheers.
