How do I lay Visqueen dpm around an obstacle located in the middle of the room?

Struggling to see how I do this without cutting some slits which kind of defeats the purpose?

think you can get special tape for this...not Duck tape

it is perfectly normal to have to cut the dpm to suit certain profile criteria. as Nige says, use membrane tape.
