In the process of digging the trench to replace the lead water pipe to the house. Following the stuff united utilities gave me. Suitably vague. Pretty much managed to middle through but main thing I having trouble with is this 100mm ducting. When I try and buy some everywhere I look its designed for cooker and bathroom extractors. Anyone got any suggestions previous experiences. What to use, where to buy ect any help much apreciated cheers

Are you suggesting putting the new water main in a duct.

If so forget it or regret it.

The pipe will slap about like a good and you'll end up with the best water hammer is the street.

Thats ok, just need insulating where there less than 750mm cover.

Could picture you ducking it down the path to the road.
