have just finished moving some water pipes for my bathroom and realised i have used leaded solder is this a major problem ?

Unless your gonna be drinking from your bath taps I wouldn't worry about it..

Your not suppose to use solder containing lead for any water supply that you would be drinking from or for example washing food, brushing teeth etc. Not to worry you but the main reason you don't use lead solder on drinkable water is because theres a risk of lead poisoning.. although I've never personally heard of a case of it, however I thought lead solder had been removed from shelves for a few years :confused:

Just look @ my posts here to know the effects of lead poisoning :eek: I used to handle sheets of the stuff without gloves. and nowhere to wash hands etc. :oops:
