leak sealer

hi. ive heard that its possible to put a leak sealer into the central heating system to stop micro leaks but that its not best to put the sealer into a combi boiler system? if so what are the consequences? many thanks

Depending on your combi the heat exchanger gets blocked as the water ways are very small.

Personally I would not use it unless I was replacing the system in the near future.

Used half a tin on the cooling system of a MF 165 once and it worked a treat.

Rad was leaking !.
