Hi

We have a very small leak coming from the inlet pipe to our radiator in our bedroom.

British gas are coming out at the end of April but is there an easy way to fix it before they come?

I do not want to drain the system if possible

How is it leaking, what is it leaking on?

Can you post a picture?

Is it leaking on the pipework, for instance a soldered joint, or it it leaking from a screwed part either side of the valves?

Help us out here....

Can you tell if it's coming from the big nut on right, smaller nut where pipe enters bottom of valve, or from under the plastic cap? Try removing the cap to see if it's the gland underneath it that's leaking. It will either pull off, or may have a screw on top that needs removing first.

Tightening whichever nut is leaking often works, but don't go too mad. If nipping it up doesn't work, you need to get someone in.
