Hi all, I was up in the loft adding more insulation and i noticed the leak pictured bellow. Today I've been outside and had a look and took some pictures of the verge. As you can see there is one obvious area that has a piece of mortar broken off. could this cause the leak that is in the pictures? if so is it possible to just get that section repaired or is it best to get the whole verge redone
many thanks
Dave

The felts worn at the edge of the roof and certainly the batons will be rotting, if it was my shout I would replace it with a continuous dry verge.

Many thanks for that I was actually just looking at that as it looks better than the other dry verge system that a few of the houses around here have. I know prices vary but do you know how much roughly something like that would cost its only one gable end as we are attached the otherside
Thanks
Dave
