Leaking Whirlpool dishwasher

I have a Whirlpool Quiet Partner III dishwasher that developed a leak several weeks ago. The leak is not coming from the door. When I look under the dishwasher while it is running I see quite a bit of water (about 3 drops/sec) dripping from the bottom of the dishwasher unit itself.

What could the problem be? The dishwasher is about two years old.
