What about the growth in the Thatcher years. No mention of that. Just bad news eh? I remember that I made most of my money in the late eighties. Car alarms and mobile phones. People couldn’t get enough of them.

Life expectancy has been stalling / falling for years because of the rise of obesity. You can't blame the pandemic on something that started years beforehand.
