Hi all

I need to lift a carpet in a bedroom to investigate a floorboard which is bending quite badly underfoot

Do I need to invest in a knee kicker (£40) to refit it properly round the skirting or can I get away with more basic tools?

Thanks in advance

If you are just lifting in a corner then it normally goes back without tools .Depends how much it’s been stretched .

Depending how handy you are its easy to mackle up a basic kicker by fixing some carpet gripper strips to a piece of wood or banging some nails in, but as stated the carpet may just drop back into place
