Light fitting earth wire

Hi my mum has ask to install a new light fitting. I’ve take the old one off but have found the earth to exposed. Can this be installed like this.
I’ve attached some pictures the last one is how the old one was installed

Short answer- yes it can. You can get green/yellow sleeving for the bare copper cpc. Also worth checking it is actually connected to earth.
