Hi Guys

I have just replasterboarded a room and have got drylining boxs to replace the old light switch boxes (which where broken when stripping off the old plaster)
the old boxes had earth terminals in them but the new boxes dont so what do I do with the earth wire?.

Cheers Jim

Sleeve them to cover end of earth wire (CPC  )- so 3" cpc gets 4" sleeve and fold it in half to prevent the cable shorting or making contact with live or neutral.

If the switch plate is metal, it should have a earthing point for termination.
