Hi,
I;ve brought a bedroom halogen light , the instrctions says

"Halogen light fittings may only be dimmed using a halogen compatible dimmer."

So would this work?

It will depend on the light you have.

Of the ones you have linked to only the first is suitable

Just read the descriptions of each one and you'll find a clue as to what they are. Are you not very good at reading?

The first one is a DIMMER
The second one is a SWITCH, not a DIMMER
The last one is a SLAVE DIMMER

The clue is in the words above the picture. There are more words after the picture that tell you even more.
 
I tried halogen lights, the bulbs kept going and taking the fuse out when they did. So there's that to look forward to.
