I am installing a very small stainless steel sink (approx 10.0 dia)
in a new powder room. The sink will be installed as a self riming sink.
Since the sink is so small and light weight I'm worried that when I
set it in with plumbers putty that it will just pop back out.
Any thought's?

Another point is to post on your own US website as english stuff tends to be a different ballgame to the plumbing materials you have there.
Apart from suggesting that you hold it in place with silicone and or any supplied fixings there is little more advice we can give.
