Hi. I've just moved into a new house and the kitchen tap has two levers which open by pulling down by 90 degrees closed to open.
Problem is the cold side is "loose" and just "drops" to fully on, ie won't hold itself between the range to allow different water flows - the other side is fine.
I wonder if there's an easy fix. Now the strange (and potentially helpful) thing is that in the kitchen cupboard the previous owner has left a replacement ceramic cartridge. I'm uncertain if this was an ongoing problem which he intended to fix with this or whether something just needs "nipping up" to tighten the handle. All help appreciated.
