My neighbour want's me to fit 2 windows for him in his lounge but there are no openings in the wall yet.
It's a cavity wall so facing brick externally and internally it's all covered with wallpaper.
I expect a catnic cavity lintel is required with cavity closers to sides and bottom and this needs notifying to local building control.
I have acro props and can hire a couple of strong boys to support above where the lintel will go.
My question is will the internal finish be disturbed so much so that he'll have to have the whole wall re-decorated?
Any advice welcomed
Cheers
