My central heating system runs off both an oil fuelled boiler and also a back boiler from the open fire.
When I light my fire and flick on the pump switch for the central heating nothing happens. I replaced the fuse in the switch and it blew as soon as i flicked the switch on.
The pump works fine when the heating is running off the oil boiler which tells me that there is a problem with the wiring from the pump to the switch.
In order to chack the wiring to the pump i first need to find it.
Could anyone tell me what the pump looks like and where it is most likely to be....

Thanks.
