Every installation of low pressure hot water cylinders that I've seen have the pressure reducing valve, cold water expansion valve etc at a level just under the bottom of the cylinder.

Wondering what, if any impact would be of having these about 2 meters above the bottom of the cylinder (short on space, also need height for EVT drain).

Any reason this wouldn't work?

Thanks,
dave
