as stated above im looking for a seperate room thermostat for my front room as all other rooms have trv's (appart from airing cupboard and bathroom)
im fitting a vailliant ecotek pro 28 and have a vaillant t130 timeswitch to go with it, but this timeswitch only covers 24hrs and will need a seperate thermostat for the front room anyway.
so...

im trying to do this cheaply, but iv just replastered to i cant have a hard wired thermostat
so iv been looking at the honeywell cmt 927 but then i found out about the vaillant vrt360f.

what do people think i should go for, or is there a easier/cheaper way to go?

thanks

I would stick to the VRT360f with this boiler ;)

But it is a little tricky to understand and set up IMHO.................................................................................................................. But easy if you've done it hundreds of times before.

The 340f is NOT suitable for the Ecotec Plus range, only for the Ecomax and previous boilers.

You MUST use the 360 for the Ecotec Plus ;)

We had the VRT360F for a while and it was very easy to set up, what made it easier was the "turn and click knob".
