I have inherited a Gledhill Boilermate II 200 when I moved recently. The boiler (upstairs) feeds 2 bathrooms, an en-suite and kitchen, util etc. The whole system, including central heating works perfectly fine except that at every hot tap there is very little pressure. The hot water temperature is fine. The installers manual states that this type of boiler should be pushing out 30 litres of hot water a min at 35C but I doubt if we are reaching 5 litres a minute. The usual other problems exist in that only one demand can be placed on the hot water at any time i.e. if you want a shower we can't turn on a hot tap or use the washing machine or the shower stops completely. I have tried adjusting the hot temp at the boiler which is a valve that connects the cold mains fed pipe (into the boiler) to the hot water pipe (out of the boiler). This gives excellent pressure on the hot taps although the hot water then obviously just runs cold. Any suggestions?
