Lurking under the floor....

Not a question, just a picture.

Just bought a house - from what i found lurking under the floor I think a re-wire might be in order!

You have never seen so many JB's under one roof!

I can keep them coming if anyone wants a good laugh?....

That is horrendus and dangerous (if the connections are not making properly there is a risk of fire).
At the very least you need a thorough inspection and test.

I'ts a good reason not to go sticking your hands under the floorboards fishing for cables etc. Sadly this type of thing is not uncommon.

Its not the worst of it - the house is undergoing a complete rewire at the minute and I keep finding this kind of quality workmanship... thankfully its all going.

Im in the middle of trying to get the service head and supply cable moved - now theres another story!

And unnecessary - the conductors would all have fitted into the JB properly.
