Hi ---- u ALL

Following this site with interest ever since i discovered it and now hooked--

Went to see above boiler------ Boiler is sited in the wall cabinet on 1st floor next to the bathroom--

Strange problem--whn HW demanded through the sink in the bath room Cold tap runs dry (ie pressure v.v.low)---whn CW from cold tap HW reduces pressure to a trickle

any suggestion with this would be a great help--

Some ideas

Is the whole house low pressure?

Stoptap not turned on enough

Valve under boiler again not opened enough

Blocked filter inside boiler

Limescale problem

A restriction could be anywhere from the cold mains in leading up to the tee on the hot between the two taps, perhaps an isolation valve not opened properly?

You are the man on the job. Shake a few brain cells and get looking.
