Main medway water boiler

Hi i have a Main medway water boiler light is on but not firing up and giving hot water any ideas please

Time to get a GSR engineer in.

Several things it could be and one in particular but please don't mess with these & don't be tempted to take the external cover off.

If the pilot is lit, then as per @Madrab it could be one of several things.

.... and if it isn't then it's very probably just one thing that shouldn't be too expensive for an experienced GSR to repair ... the part would be around a tenner.

Just checking, you have checked the pilot flame and is it lit?

Yes i have checked pilot light and it is defiantly lit its warm for couple of seconds then goes cold

has your water flow rate changed at the taps since it stopped working ? ie got faster or slower ?

Hiya ye it seems to a got slower not loads but slower than normal

could simply be that the cold water inlet filter has become blocked

no just turn the water to the heater off open a hot tap till thewater stops, then undo the inlet nut on the heater the filter is in there
